Focused - Alyson Gerber

In the book, Focused, by Alyson Gerber, Clea is a young girl who just can't focus. I know, that doesn't seem like a big issue, until it is. It starts off with getting distracted easily, and soon progresses to delaying homework, then not getting it done. Clea's grades are slowly getting lower and lower, until her parents change everything. Clea plays chess, she is very passionate about it, as well as competitive. Clea is able to focus while playing chess, but not while doing homework. Why? Don't ask me, I don't want to spoil it. Clea's parents decide to test her if she has a certain disorder. I'm not going to tell you what it is, read the book to find out. On the other hand, Clea is dealing with a lot of drama. Making new friends, losing old friends, crushes.
