When Molly’s mom has to move to Toronto, Canada for a year for her juice business, Molly’s older sister, Kate, starts telling her that their mother will never come back, Molly suddenly starts organizing her glass figurines with a ruler, counting by 2s, then counting by 4s, and feeling stressed and anxious all the time. Will Molly ever overcome her OCD? Will Molly’s mother ever return home? While dealing with this atrocious situation, Molly creates a solution with the words poetry, slam, and contest in it.
Molly thinks that a winner in the family would definitely make her mother come home for her banquet. Molly has a HUGE passion for poems that motivates her to participate in the contest. While doing all this, Molly feels the urge to count by 4s to protect her little brother, Ian, from any sort of disease that could possibly lead to harm in any way. When Molly realizes that her best friend, Hannah, is about to move away to somewhere pretty far away. Molly understands that this is much more than she can handle.
